Club E (Club Entrepreneur) is a global network that connects entrepreneurs to the financial and supportive resources they need to grow their businesses. Our members benefit from the connections with other entrepreneurs at local chapter meetings, participation in our global online networking and our inspiring, educational how-to videos.
The entrepreneurial development center is a public/private partnership with the City of College Park and was awarded a $150,000 grant from the Small Business Administration. The city leveraged the public monies to attract local businessman Bob Johnson as a private partner who could extend the resources and the reach to properly jump-start the endeavor.
According to Johnson, College Park has all the right ingredients. “It’s a community that is up and coming, linked by public transit to the rest of the metro region, centrally located and adjacent to the world’s busiest airport which is the greatest economic engine in the Southeast region. We think entrepreneurs will like it here, and we’re going to create a great space for collaboration inside Club E so they can remain connected and be creative.”
The building where Club E Atlanta is located is the building that had been home to College Park Furniture Company since 1912. When the business owner passed away, the family decided it was an opportunity for them to re-purpose the building into something of value for the citizens of College Park who had supported the business for almost 100 years.
The 11,000 square-foot facility includes the only coffee shop and copy center in the nearby vicinity.
